The Current Status of Business Intelligence: A Systematic Literature Review

Abstract: Business intelligence has gained much attention the last few years and corporations has invested a lot of money in its operation to better prepare for the future. Studies show improvements in organizations performance both when it comes to better insight but also better decision making. Business intelligence software has made it possible for easier transformation of data. This article presents a systematic literature review on business intelligence and address the challenges and benefits of BI, along with its critical success factors.
